Senior Account Manager

We are looking for a dedicated Senior Account Manager who is interested in driving digitization in scientific laboratories and having a direct impact on scientists’ daily tasks.

We are looking for a dedicated Senior Account Manager who is interested in driving digitization in scientific laboratories and having a direct impact on scientists’ daily tasks. You should bring experience in selling software , a STEM degree and a passion for networking with potential customers. In the role you are responsible for the whole sales cycle - targeting, acquiring, and onboarding biotech and pharma companies. You lead an international sales team whose goal is to implement our lab operating system in every lab across the world. Duties:

  • Develop and maintain a strong end-to-end sales pipeline including lead generation, with a consultative and solutions focused approach.
  • Identify trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements.
  • Lead a small international sales team, monitor their KPIs and improve the performance.
  • Be a trustful voice on LinkedIn and inform on the newest developments around lab digitization.
  • Attract new clients for Clustermarket on events, via LinkedIn and email outreach. 
  • Coordinate, develop and negotiate pricing details according to software requirements and the business operations.
  • Consult potential clients on the implementation of a digital solution and support with the onboarding and setup process.
  • Examine risks and benefits of potential business development opportunities.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor, Master or PhD degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of sales experience in a SaaS company with a bonus scheme. 
  • A self-starter who can operate in a start-up environment and has strong problem solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including in the context of group and public presentations.
  • Methodical, analytical and resourceful while always looking to self-improve.
  • Passionate about IoT, lab of the future, equipment connectivity and remote scientific labs.
  • Strong negotiation and customer success skills
