Welcome back to the quarterly product blog. We have been working on some very exciting projects in the last 3 months, and want to give you a sneak peak into a couple of integrations we have been building that will be releasing very soon. But before we get to those, here is a quick overview of the changes that you will have seen on the site since March.
Reports page design update
In May we released an updated Reports page that matches our updated design, all of the functionality you are used to is still available, but we made some small tweaks to make it more user friendly.
LabTrack fixes
We have fixed some outstanding issues our LabTrack users were experiencing with the tool, so the process of setting LabTrack up on your equipment computers to limit access should be much smoother.
Independent currency changes for bookings
We have updated the currency functionality on equipment to allow you to change the currency for pricing on an individual equipment booking.
If you add or edit a piece of equipment and select the ‘Do you intend to charge users for using this equipment’ then a pricing table will appear at the top of the Add/Edit equipment modal.
If you click into the pricing tab you will now see a drop down that will allow you to change the currency for that piece of equipment:
From here you can choose what currency you want to charge users in, you can also change the currency when editing equipment, but the previous currency for a booking will remain the same:
And the historical information will also be available to download in reports too.
Future integrations
We have been working on two very exciting integrations over the last months, and wanted to give you a sneak peak into what we will be releasing in the coming months.
Asset monitoring with essentim sensors
Building on the Asset monitoring section of our integrations, we have recently released our essentim sensor IOT data integration.
Utilising essentim sensors we can integrate with the IOT data from the sensors and surface that information on your Clustermarket Lab. This integration will allow you to map ambient room sensors to rooms in your lab, you will be able to map sensors to equipment and rooms and all of the sensor data will be available in one place:

Benchling equipment data integration
We are very excited to announce that we are about to move into the pilot phase of a project we have been working on together with Benchling. We have spent the last few months building an integration that will allow you to share your Clustermarket equipment data and equipment booking calendars in your Benchling tenant.
You will be able to select which labs within your organisation share their equipment data with your Benchling tenant and when we send that data over to your Benchling tenant we create the equipment as Entities in your Benchling Registry. Then, using Benchling’s powerful search tool, your equipment data can be surfaced in Notebook tables and text:
You will also be able to add equipment data to your workflows with the individual booking calendar link for each piece of equipment:
You will be able to create equipment table Templates and Sub-templates, add equipment lists to worklists to quickly and easily populate a Workflow or table template in your Notebook.
